Shawnee Golf Course is proud to be the home of The First Tee of Louisville. We offer various youth golf camps, clinics, and activities year round including after school, home school, and summer events.

Programs Currently Running: -For the winter months of 2010 Assistant Golf Professionals Juan Mitchell and Greg Gibson are teaching golf indoors! The First Tee Golf in Schools program may have already seen your children this year. Elementary and middle schools all across Louisville are registered to have our Pro's visit and give an introduction to golf during regular gym classes. Programs Coming Soon: -Our 2010 Program Calendar is being contructed as you read. Just like the last 4 years we are striving to improve our programs this season. Our goals are to make programs more available, to more applicants, with the best golf and life skills instruction possible. Upon completion the calender will be posted on this site as well as our program site(www.thefirstteelouisville.org).

Staff: -This season we have expanded our coaching staff to include PGA Head Professionals (5) Craig Heibert, Kevin Greenwell, George Johnson, Assistant Professionals (6) Juan Mitchell, Greg Gibson, Aaron Harrell and Tommy Betz. With the help of countless volunteers we make sure our youth are kept in a friendly, safe, and productive learning environment.
